Five-hour ‘jumbo block’ between Santacruz and Goregaon local stations tomorrow

A five-hour-long ‘jumbo block’ will be implemented on up and down slow lines between Santacruz and Goregaon stations on Western Railway line from 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday.

The ‘jumbo block’ will be implemented to carry out maintenance work on tracks, signaling and overhead equipment.
According to a press release by Western Railway, during the block period, all down slow line suburban trains will be operated on down fast line and all up slow line suburban trains will be operated on up fast line between Santacruz and Goregaon stations. Some suburban trains will be cancelled during the block.
